Automatic metal detector is fast and sensitive
At Dutchpacks we introduce the automatic metal detector AMD, for detecting Fe (magnetic metal such as iron and chrome), non-Fe (non-magnetic metal such as copper and aluminum) and SUS (stainless steel). The sensitivity for certain products depends on the density, shape, working environment, conveyor belt speed and other general factors. The machine functions optimally in working conditions with temperatures between 0 and 50 ℃ and a humidity of less than 90%. The durable stainless steel frame is sturdy and environmentally friendly. When detecting metal, the AMD gives both a warning sound and a flashing light, and stops the belt immediately to prevent further processing. Optionally, an automatic ejection system can be ordered.
Automatic metal detector AMD is optimal for accurate metal detection
The detector of the automatic metal detector has a tunnel size with a width of 300mm and a height of 180mm. The maximum detectable size is a conveyor belt width of 250mm and a passage height of 150mm, these sizes can be adjusted to any desired size when ordering. The total machine length is 1500mm, this can also be longer at the customer’s request. In terms of sensitivity, the detector can detect Ferro metals (Fe) from a diameter of ≥1mm, non-Ferro metals (non-Fe) from ≥1.5mm and stainless steel (SUS) from ≥ 2mm.
The AMD conveyor system can carry a maximum weight of 10kg and the height of the conveyor belt from the floor is adjustable from 800mm (± 30mm). The conveyor belt running direction is from right to left when you look at the screen. The belt speed is adjustable between 0-30 meters/minute. The conveyor belt is made of white PVC material. The frame of the machine is made of stainless steel 304, which ensures durability, environmental friendliness and corrosion resistance. The operation of the metal detector is in English, making it user-friendly for international users.

Placement, maintenance & safety
Before the metal detector is delivered to the customer, it undergoes a thorough test with the right material in our workshop at our location in Roosendaal. On request, Dutchpacks can also install the metal detector at the customer’s location and provide extensive guidance on the operation and adjustment of the machine, including information on the associated safety risks.
Dutchpacks guarantees service and maintenance of the metal detector, so you are assured of a device that is always in optimal condition. All components of the metal detector are CE-approved, and the product meets the CE regulations.
